Nell’ambito delle attività e delle azioni da proporre per raggiungere gli obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile, abbiamo presentato sulla piattaforma SDGs Learning, Training & Practice una nostra proposta di workshop, che metterà in campo tutta la nostra esperienza in campo di Dieta Mediterranea e possibilità di intervenire positivamente sulla riduzione e prevenzione dei Non Comunicable Diseases e sulla attuale situazione epidemiologica (COVID-19)

Global Action Plan 2013-2021
UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE All people should have access, without discrimination, to sets of the needed promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative basic health services and essential, safe, affordable, effective and quality medicines.
Since 2009 everything has been organized following the conference “From A. Keys to J. Stamler. The pleasures and benefits of the Mediterranean Diet to prevent cardio-cerebrovascular diseases” (PIOPPI 2009).
In our monitoring, the nine identified targets have been reached for about 50%, we believe we can reach 100%.
Key Objectives of the learning session
Thanks to Mediterraneum Diet of Cilento, we can beat NCDs and reach the nine targets of The Global Action Plan for Universal Healt and also the 17 targets of SDG Agenda 2030.

Mediterranean diet of Cilento makes antioxidants the food priority and therefore represents a fundamental weapon in the war against Covid-19.
Proof of this is the proven longevity of the population of Cilento and the very low number of infections present in this area and all this is demonstrated by epidemiological data and by ongoing studies.
The Mediterranean diet of Cilento, which has already contributed to acting positively in these areas on the 9 objectives of the Global Action plan, must therefore be taken into consideration as a key element in lowering the incidence of infections from Covid-19
